Receives nothing until masking has run.
It can summarise the sentence. It cannot identify anyone in it.

Raw transcript sent to a cloud AI
- The provider holds it: names, an IBAN and the deal terms, in a third party's logs.
- Confidential material now sits on someone else's servers.
- Personal data has left your control, under their retention policy.
Masked transcript
- The provider sees placeholders. Nobody in the meeting can be identified.
- Same summary quality. The sentence still reads, so the model still understands it.
- Fails closed. If masking cannot run, nothing is sent.
